justin myer staller and myself play in a band called A City Safe From Sea, and we just finished up a week long mini tour of sorts with our friends The Summer Pledge. …as people like us are prone to doing, we did a collaborative tour poster representing a good old fashioned basement show… justin drew a bunch of lines, i drew a bunch more lines of varying shades, and then justin printed them on nice french textured paper. they are currently available HERE through justin personally for $20. as well, there are a small handful without the text, if thats what you prefer.
…as for the print i did for LOST and its eventual availability… i know since pretty much every other artist sold their prints this past week many many many many many many many many people emailed me asking when i was putting mine up. i’m sorry if i didn’t get back to everyone, there have been so so so many, and there’s really only so many emails i could reply to on my iphone from a van. but i don’t really have my plan for this yet. i suspect a cart system will be a nightmare, and an email lottery will just get flooded. the simple answer at the moment is: i will let my mailing list know in the next few days. be on it if you aren’t, its over to the left there…
ok, back to coughing and wheezing and wishing i was asleep.

But alas, as the great and now-cliche Spiderman saying goes (and I paraphrase), “with great artwork comes great responsibility!”
DD–I am glad you survived the trials and tribulations of touring and have lived to tell the tale. Like all other HARDCORE LOST fans, “And that’s why [our] hand(s) [were] shaking…” to hear about when we all might have an opportunity to purchase this poster!
Unfortunately, the found reality with this LOST Underground Art Project is that you can’t please all the people all the time, but just like John Locke and Jack Shepherd, I have faith that your free will in deciding on how to go about selling your print will be as fair as humanly possible.
Personally speaking (though I feel that I’d be in the LOST community majority), I sincerely appreciate you giving us all an update and for the time taken to answer the onslaught of e-mails you must’ve received. I look forward to the latest news in the Newsletter. In the interim, stop coughing, stop wheezing, and get some sleep as my own potential sleep deprivation,my furious F5 pointer finger, my wallet, and my [hopeful/miraculous] wall space for your brilliant frame await you!

Weird. I’m on the mailing list and believe I received an email when the last big DD on-sale happened–but nothing for this one.
Anyone else not get the tour poster on-sale email?
